Home Safety Device Grant Changes
Safekids Aotearoa and ACC want to continue to support New Zealand organisations and services with child home injury prevention as part of the Make Your Home a Safety Zone programme.
In this next phase, instead of a grant application process, we will be taking a partnership approach with existing and new providers. These providers will work with whānau in their homes to reach the programme goal of over 4000 families receiving:
· home and child safety education
· provision of child safety devices
· installation of child safety devices
Safekids is pleased to also be working with interested Healthy Homes Initiative providers , enhancing the safety aspect of the warm, dry homes programme.
