Agenda for children: Discussion paper

The Agenda for Children is a Government plan of action to make New Zealand a great place for children. It is being developed through work led by the Ministry of Social Policy. Consulting with children, young people and adults interested in children's issues is an important part of developing this plan. The Discussion paper sets out the early thinking on what the Agenda for Children might ciontain. Submissions are welcomed from groups and individuals with an interest in children's issues, along with interested young people. The Ministry of Social Policy wants to hear what people think about priorities for child policy over the next five years. There is also a Children's Discussion Pack which accompanies this discussion document (rec. # 4909) The final date for responses is June 22, 2001.
