This new publication highlights the key lessons and challenges related to implementing Whakatataka: Maori Health Action Plan 2002–2005. It outlines the context for the development of Whakatataka Tuarua and it proposes priority area for Whakatataka Tuarua. The overall aim of these documents is whanau ora and the action plans aim to implement He Korowai Oranga: Maori Health Strategy, which sets the direction for Maori health development in the health and disability sector for the next five to 10 years.
