What works in preventing unintentional injuries in children and young adolescents: An updated systematic review
This publication from the British 'Health Development Agency' is described as a systematic review of 'what works' in preventing the unintentional injury of children and young adolescents, and updates similar reviews published in '93 and '96. A range of interventions are identified which have been shown to reduce injury or to change behaviour. The review concludes that a concerted effort to implement established, effective interventions is necessary, to reduce the enormous burden of childhood injury. Available at:
