Childhood unintentional injury worldwide: Meeting the challenge

Safe Kids Worldwide undertook this study to better understand unintentional injury based on data from its member countries: Australia, Austria, Brazil, China, Germany, Israel, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Africa, there United States and Vietnam. Representing nearly half a billion children, this data reveals differences among industrialized nations, as well as a wide disparity between wealthy countries and low- and middle- income countries. This brief report presents the data and makes recommendations for prevention under the headings listed in the keywords below.
