Unintentional childhood injury in the northern region A report for the Northland, Waitemata, Auckland and Counties Manukau District Health Boards

This report to the northern DHBs focuses on all types of unintentional injury to children age 0-14 years. It also examines internationally recognised good investments for reducing child injury in terms of the New Zealand context. The authors recommend parenting programmes as their single most important recommendation. They also recommend DHBs support good practice interventions, research and collaboration.
