What's Injury Control got to do with the Health Sector?
The idea that injury prevention is a branch of public health is a relatively new one. The concept is not new to national health policy planners, nor to workers in the field, but injury prevention as a legitimate public health activity is still a radical notion, both inside and outside the health field.
